Future Thomas Kellers?

These are my most unabashed critics, and also my cooking pupils for the summer. They have shown their potential with their bravery in the kitchen. Many have had their first taste of lychee, rosewater,and local fennel and champagne grapes. Grinding cumin with a mortar and pestle they have closed their eyes to take in the memory if its smell. This is what I did on my summer vacation.
